Where is the money in my ISA invested?

Your money is invested in the funds that you choose when you select an investment from our comparison tables. There are a mixture of active and passive funds in there so you can either invest in an index like the FTSE 100 or 500 or look to beat an index with an active fund. We also have our Cushonmixes, both ethical and normal which invest in both passive and active funds and spreads your money across asset classes like shares, bonds, cash etc. and countries.

We have over 1000 funds to pick and choose from over 90 different top fund managers. The manager of each fund then invests directly in the shares and bonds of individual companies. Fund managers can do this much more cheaply than you could yourself because they are dealing with millions of pounds within the fund. They can also spread the fund's money over lots of different investments which helps reduce the risk.

Our comparison tables help you compare the funds (and portfolios of funds) available from all different managers and choose the ones with the lowest charges and highest projected returns.
